My stay at Hotel Orts was quite pleasant, offering a great location in the heart of Brussels just a short walk from major attractions like the Grand Place. Although the room was a bit snug, it was impeccably clean and had all the amenities I needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which added to my overall positive experience, but the breakfast options were limited.

Rooms

The room was clean and well-decorated but a bit small, providing a comfortable bed and decent bathroom. I enjoyed great views from the windows.
Service

The service was fantastic; the staff was very helpful and friendly. Check-in was efficient even though I arrived late.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect for exploring the city, just minutes from Grand Place and surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants.
Dining

Breakfast offered a continental buffet but lacked variety; there were mostly pastries, cereals, and some cold meats and cheese.
Facilities

The hotel had good WiFi, a nice bar area, and an outdoor café, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some drinks.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Orts. On the positive side, the location was fantastic, close to bars and major attractions, and I found my room to be reasonably tidy with a comfy bed. However, the staff weren't very helpful, and I faced issues with broken facilities like the air conditioning and fridge. The noise from the pub below was also quite bothersome.

Rooms

My room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom, though the amenities could definitely use some updates.
Service
5.0
The staff was mostly unhelpful, but I did find one caring housekeeper who made an effort.

Breakfast was included, but it could definitely offer more variety despite being decent for the price.
Facilities

Facilities like the elevator were unreliable, and I had issues with the air conditioning and fridge, which was disappointing.

My stay at Hotel Orts was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Grand Place, and the staff was friendly. However, the room was cramped, and the services offered could be improved significantly. I encountered issues with the lift and the cleanliness of the room, which overshadowed the overall experience. 😞

Rooms
5.0
The room was incredibly small, making it hard to move around. I noticed dust under the bed, and the en-suite was cramped.
Service
5.0
While the staff was friendly, the service was a nightmare. I struggled to get an ironing board and had issues with the safe.
Location
8.0
The hotel had a perfect location, close to restaurants, shops, and major tourist spots like the Grand Place.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was free and decent, though it was the least impressive one I had during my trip.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were substandard. The lift felt dangerous, and the overall condition of the hotel was somewhat dingy.

I had a good stay at Hotel Orts, which was ideally located just a short walk from the Grand Place. The spacious room was comfortable and charming, but a few minor issues prevented it from being perfect. The staff were incredibly accommodating, enhancing my overall experience.

Rooms
8.0
My Superior Double Room was huge, clean, and had lovely decor, giving it a boutique vibe. I enjoyed the two small balconies with great views. However, the awkward door configuration made it tricky to maneuver my luggage.
Service
9.0
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They provided prompt assistance when I requested extra soap and even offered coffee when I had an early departure. Their kindness was noticeable throughout my stay.
Location
10.0
The location was superb, just a few minutes' walk from major sightseeing spots and with a metro station at the end of the block. It was really convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring the city.
Dining
7.0
Dining in the hotel was quite good, and I loved the fresh pastries. However, breakfast wasn't included in my rate, so I ended up stocking up on snacks from local shops and enjoying my own balcony dining.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel had a unique charm, it did lack some traditional facilities like a prominent lobby and the elevator could be tricky due to its design. Nevertheless, this didn't detract much from my stay.

6.0/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Orts. The rooms were spacious and charming, with nice views, but I faced some issues with the Wi-Fi and breakfast options that left me wanting more. The location is undoubtedly a major highlight, being close to major attractions and restaurants, yet the service could use some improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The spacious rooms were charming and clean, featuring wooden floors that added character but also allowed sound from above to travel. I enjoyed the comfortable bed and decent bathroom.
Service
5.0
While most staff were friendly and eager to help, there were challenges. The evening desk clerk spoke very little English, which complicated things a bit. I wished for more attentive service during my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel's central location was fantastic. Just a short walk to the Grand Place and surrounded by shops and restaurants. It made exploring Brussels incredibly convenient.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Mainly consisting of croissants and cereal, it could have offered more variety. I felt it wasn't a great value compared to other hotels.
Facilities
6.0
Overall, facilities were acceptable but unremarkable. The shared lobby for check-in and the café sometimes led to delays, especially during busy times.
